Yanick joins the Condensed
Matter Theory and Quantum Computing Group of the University of Basel. He will work on
theoretical understanding of spin qubits in Si-Ge nano-structures and bi-layer graphene/BN
quantum dots at UB (graphene work jointly with UKON, with whom previous joint
activities on graphene nano-structures exist); work closely with UCPH on Ge/Si
nanowires, TUD on planar Si-Ge structures and ETH on graphene/BN quantum dots;
visit Urenco to receive induction in the isotope enrichment processes in order to
gain understanding of the material properties (to be applied for theory of
Si-Ge nano-structures). See Meet the Team - http://spin-nano.sites.sheffield.ac.uk/meet-the-team |
